Delegates tucked in to fish and chips whilst meeting up with old and new faces at the June 2009 beconnected event. Over 190 delegates attended the event, many of which were start-up businesses.

We were privileged to welcome Helen Colley, Founder of Farmhouse Fare Ltd as the event guest speaker.

Helen shared her story of how she transformed a fledging business idea into a multi-million pound business employing over 120 people in 4 years. The local business community then took the opportunity to ask Helen questions about her business success.

210 local business people joined together on 25^th February for the 6^th beconnected event. During the event we welcomed UK Sales Expert Andy Preston to the stage…….

Andy isn’t just someone who ‘speaks’ about sales – he lives it, breathes it and passionately believes that ANYONE can learn the skills to sell more of what they offer – even if they aren’t a ‘traditional’ salesperson. Andy believes that EVERYONE has to sell – and that it’s easy to get better at it ……… once you know how!

Our 6^th event also saw the launch of ‘The Meeting Place’ – an interactive networking photo wall which allows you to meet even more great contacts.
